Spider Solitaire FAQ
Q. Is Spider Solitaire free to play? A. Yes, it is completely free to play. There are no fees or in-app purchases.
Q. Do I need to download or install anything? A. No download needed. Just open the page in your browser and start playing right away. On mobile it is as easy as tapping the cards.
Q. What is the difference between 1, 2, and 4 suits? A. The number of suits in the deck sets the difficulty. 1 Suit (spades only) is the easiest and great for beginners. From there you can step up to 2 Suits (Normal) and 4 Suits (Hard). The leaderboard is also split by difficulty.
Q. Why can I sometimes not deal from the stock pile? A. Because the rules do not allow dealing from the stock while a column is empty. First move a card into every empty column so all columns have at least one card, then tap the stock pile.
Q. Is my best time saved? Can I submit it to the leaderboard? A. Yes, your clear time is automatically saved as your best record for each difficulty, and you can submit it to the leaderboard. Shorter times rank higher.
Q. Can I play other solitaire games? A. Yes! You can also play the classic Solitaire (Klondike), FreeCell where every card is face up and it is all about skill, and Pyramid Solitaire where you remove pairs that add up to 13 — all free.
